Erase Dark Circles with this DIY recipe:
My search for a dark circle eye cream started long time ago... I was only 27 when the first signs of dark circles appear in my face. I learned over time that my dark circles are hereditary. However, if i drink plenty of water, eat the right foods, and have 8-9 hours fo sleep I will recover and be fine.
Fast foward to present day... I am not longer 27. Over the years I have used all kind of eye creams and gels that did very little for my eye circles. 5 years ago I started switching to natural-organic-greener ways of doing things such as greene dertegents, better foods for me and my family, and natural organic ways of self care and beauty. So I decided I want to write and share with you all the things I have done on my journey to a healthier, greener, natural me.
So back to my eye cream; I found a recipe with fennel, thyme, lemon, peppermint and water. This recipe is very good and effective. However, the shelf life is too short, and every week I have to cook the fennel, thyme, etc. and throw away the unused recipe.
Looking for a better way I thought "why not do it with essential oils instead?" But wait, I also want these oils to be high quality, therapeutic grade, since I will be using it under the eyes. The solution came to me while doing another recipe for acne.
So this is what I came up with: The essential version for fennel, lemon, thyme and, peppermint. I also added liquid vitamin e (vitamin E capsules are fine too). This combination make the serum easy to absorb in the mornings before putting on make up. I also came up with a night eye eraser cream by adding coconut oil and bee wax ( for consistancy) to the mix.
The recipe is simple:
Dr. Fanny's Dark Cirlcles Eraser Serum
On a dark bottle with a dropper or a roll on.
5 drops of Fennel essential oils
5 drops of Lemon essential oils
5 drops of Peppermint essntial oils
5 drops of Thyme essential oils
To order the essential oils at wholsale prices go to http/members.webs.com/MembersB/editPage.jsp?pageID=336229777
Add 2 table spoons of liquid vitamin E or or open the vitamin E capsules( about 4 capsules) on the bottle and mix together.
For the night cream version:
Simmer the coconut oil and bewax until becomes liquid and clear,
then add the essential oils, places on a jar for easy access.
Apply with your ring finger on the delicate area under the eye circles. You will notice results in a week.
